When we talk about surgery in stomatology we immediately think about teeth extraction. And really tooth extraction is the most spread operation in the world.

In clinic Master-StoM tooth extraction is carried with application of modern anesthetics totally painless with minimal of tissue traumatizing. Intensive prevention (stitching, usage of local osteotropic medication) allows to eliminate after-operation complications.

But Master-StoM deals not only with tooth extraction. In our surgery department the whole range of teeth-saving operations are carried out and they are performed according to the modern methods. To such operations relate:

• apex of the tooth root exsection – cutting of the apex of the tooth root together with granuloma- this operation is performed by treatment of heavy forms of perio. We perform exsection of apex of the tooth root not only for anterior teeth but in side parts of jaws which are difficult to reach and that allows to save important teeth for “chewing”.
• bisection – extraction of one of the roots of multi-root tooth allows to save ‘hopeless’ teeth. If such a tooth has destroyed coronal part its roots can be used for prosthesis because ‘native’ roots give possibility to renew the function teeth-jaw system more effective than application of implants.
• curettage – extraction of under-gum dental deposits in perio pockets which are formed by perio; is implemented in general by difficult forms of perio.
• partial operation is carried out by treatment of generalized form of perio; during the operation a horizontal cut in gums is made and a part for exposure of gingival border is put aside, all pathologically changed tissues are removed and after that the part is put at its place and strengthened by raphe.

In cases when a patient has defect of bridle (to short bridle of upper or lower lip) which can arouse as tipping of central teeth so long-lasting gum inflammation, we make plastics of bridle. It’s important that by correction of bridle defect we perform the plastics - change of its form, which is made only by specialists with high qualification.
